Announcing Microsoft System Center 2012

Dear Partner:

Happy New Year! We hope you had a good holiday and are excited to continue our strong partnership in 2012. This is the year of the private cloud and we look forward to talking with you about the Microsoft Private Cloud.

Microsoft is firmly committed to the success of cloud computing. As proof of that commitment, we have announced the launch of new systems management software optimized for the cloud: Microsoft System Center 2012. System Center 2012 offers integrated solutions for managing private clouds, datacenter resources, and client devices.

Briefly summarized, System Center 2012 provides:

Private Cloud Value: More cloud capacity with unlimited virtualization.
Simplified Licensing: A suite-based model that is easier to understand and sell.
Consistent Capabilities: All private-cloud features included in every System Center license.

You can view our Private Cloud campaign and public announcement by Server and Tools President, Satya Nadella, on January 17.
